Sitting in The Laundromat (noon) I put my dirty laudry
Into a dirty sack
I stuffed it full of everything
The shirt right off my back
Today I read the papers
And they made me fell depressed
Thinking maybe I might change the world
If all my pants were pressed
So I'm sitting in the laudromat
Getting my clothes clean
Pouring all my money
Into the big machine
I made a resolution
Things have got to stop
This world is such a dirty place
So I'll get out the spots

But what is the solution
For all my dirty clothes
I used a little too much bleach
And now they're full of holes

It's getting close to midnight
And everything's the same
I was hoping for more progress
And I'm running out of change
I've gone through all the cycles
And I've seen the dryers spin
Now everything's in tatters
 Held with safety pins
Just sitting in the laundromat
Books and magazines
Outside's the world's a dirty place
Tearing at the seams
But if I can get these clothes washed
Things will change no doubt
Still it might take forever
For the stains to all come out
Come out

I’m gonna go to Pennsylvania Because they say there I’ve got a friend Gonna go to Pennsylvania Hoping that this heartbreak will end I’m leaving soon for Pennsylvania Gonna watch a marching band Maybe go and join in a 4H club See who wins the medal for best ham I’ll stare down an empty coal mine Look at that broken bell Check out a little Marcel Duchamp Maybe watch a soft-ball game as well Why don’t you come with me to Pennsylvania? You and me in a Trailways bus Corned beef in our picnic basket With enough beer for the two of us I’ll stare down an empty coal mine Look at that broken bell Check out a little Marcel Duchamp Maybe watch a soft-ball game as well I’m off today for Pennsylvania Wanna see if what they say is true Because I need a friend something awful To fill this empty space left by you
3.
When you're in love
It's strange how things get
What you remember
 And what you forget
iIfe is a room
 Stuffs laying about
 Love takes a broom
 And sweeps the junk out

I see on your face that you have a doubt
But when you're in ove you'll figure it out

When you're in love
It takes all you've got
 To tell how you feel
 To someone's who's not
 Life is a word
 That needs explanation
Love comes along
And does the translation

I see that you're asking how I know it's true
But when you're in love you'll see it my way, too

When you're in love
 You'll know what I mean
In a place where the plants
 Are all evergreen
 Life is that garden,
 Seeds laying around
 Love makes the flowers
 Grow in the ground

I see on your face, by that look in your eyes
That you're in love and love never lies

When you're in love

about

The Yokai (Traditional Monsters in English) are a type of supernatural creature in Japanese folklore.

The term Yokai essentially refers to mischievous characters with supernatural or unexplainable capacities.

The musical world portrayed by Dick Turner and Traditional Monsters is something of a bestiary filled with borderline characters in search of hypothetical happiness, painted against a background of desperate humor...
